Our Current family
Choir
We are delighted to introduce our church choir, a group that beautifully expresses their strength and faith through the power of their voices. Their harmonious, well-trained performances inspire and uplift our congregation. We warmly welcome anyone who feels called to join our choir family. If you're interested in becoming a member, feel free to reach out to us.
Evangelism
Every Saturday, our dedicated ANBC evangelism team gathers in Brighton Beach to share the message of God's love and grace. With hearts full of compassion and faith, they bring the light of the Gospel to the community, reaching out to those in need of hope and spiritual guidance. We invite you to join us in this meaningful mission to spread.
Serving CIS countries
Every Wednesday morning, our pastor meets with the extended ANBC family to serve those living in CIS countries, including Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and beyond. Local missionaries also join these meetings, checking in on our family members alongside our church community. Together, we offer spiritual support and encouragement, extending our care across borders.
Meal Serving
Led by Zoya Kim Samonim, our pastor's wife, the meal preparation team serves with love and care every Sunday after the service. These meals are not just for our ANBC members, but for neighbors and anyone who wishes to come by. Our doors are always open for you to enjoy a multicultural menu featuring Koryo Saram, Uzbek, Ukrainian, Russian, and Korean dishes. Come and share in the warmth and fellowship!
Outdoor Gathering
At ANBC, we embrace the beauty of each season by coming together in outdoor gatherings filled with joy, fellowship, and spiritual connection. These events are an opportunity for our church family, along with loved ones, friends, and neighbors, to share in the warmth of community. We sing uplifting songs, engage in friendly sports activities, and unite in heartfelt prayer, all while enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Whether it's a picnic in the park, a game of volleyball, or simply sharing stories around a bonfire, these moments allow us to strengthen our bonds with one another and grow deeper in our faith. Everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate life, laughter, and the blessings of God's creation.
Easter
During Easter, ANBC celebrates with a series of meaningful and joyful activities that honor the resurrection of Christ and bring our community closer together. Our Easter festivities begin with worshiping and reflecting on the hope and renewal that Easter represents. We engage in a time of fellowship, sharing a special meal that includes traditional dishes from our multicultural community.
Our choir leads us in uplifting hymns, and we take time for collective prayer, thanking God for His grace and the gift of salvation. It's a day filled with worship, love, and the warmth of community, open to everyone who wishes to join us in celebrating this sacred holiday.

Christmas
At ANBC, Christmas is a time of warmth and togetherness as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Our Christmas gatherings are filled with festive joy, beginning with a lively service featuring special performances, including carols led by our choir and a heartwarming Nativity play by our children. After the service, we come together for a Christmas feast, sharing dishes from our diverse community.
We also embrace the spirit of giving by organizing a gift exchange for families and children, creating an atmosphere of love and generosity. Our Christmas celebration is a joyful blend of worship, fellowship, and cultural traditions, open to everyone who wishes to join in the holiday spirit.

Our Life (Hi)story
At ANBC, we are more than just a Baptist church; we are a place where diverse backgrounds and life stories come together. A key part of this mission is our "Koryo Saram Life Stories", which records the personal histories of our older generation. As the spiritual home of the Koryo Saram immigrant community in New York, ANBC recognizes the deep significance of their experiences and contributions to our shared history. By preserving and sharing these life stories, we foster a greater understanding of one another and deepen our spiritual connection in Christ. This process not only honors the legacy of the Koryo Saram community but also strengthens our faith and unity.
